The second segment of the crab is delicious, large, and appetizing. These are tender, juicy segments with a fresh sea aroma. The meat of these segments requires minimal preparation; it can be simply drizzled with sauce or lemon juice and served immediately.

The meat has a slightly sweet and salty flavor and is the juiciest and most tender among crustaceans. King crab is typically served with melted butter, lemon, or garlic sauce.
  The product can be enjoyed as a standalone dish, used in various salads, or as a stuffing for chicken.
  It is cooked immediately upon harvesting.

Do not use a microwave! Quick thawing in the microwave will cause the crab meat to lose its flavor and nutritional value, and it will become dry.

If the crab is red, it means it is already cooked—reboiling it will cause the protein to coagulate, resulting in "rubbery" meat.

Crab meat does not pair well with eggplants, mandarins, or pears.
